I know for me, when I first tried to deal with Endometriosis, the situation was far from good. I was given every synthetic hormonal treatment, in an attempt to find one that wouldn’t give me as severe side-effects as the other. We kept trying though and eventually I landed up on a contraceptive pill for 7years. I had no idea the damage it was doing. I was still experiencing Endometriosis pain and pain during sex, so I knew this was no real treatment or solution for my body.
After my 7th operation, things changed. I just couldn’t stand the idea of experiencing another operation. My endometriosis was at stage 4 and the doctors warned me of the inherent dangers but I needed the time to find a different way. I did.
After emigrating to Australia and having little choice – I had no medical insurance – I decided to explore the natural alternatives out there. It was much more common place in Australia and it was easy to find a Chinese Doctor, Naturopath and Ayurvedic Doctors. I explored all my options. I tried all the various treatments and in the end I realised one fundamental element: Holistic Healing requires all the elements to work together. That means, we need to eat right, live a stress-free lifestyle (or reduce it as much as we can) and be of calm mind and spirit. It was no good doing one or the other, we needed to apply all the modalities and then add herbs, acupuncture or whichever method appeals to us.
In this video I share some of these methods and what I have discovered along my journey. I hope you enjoy it and share it, so we can help more women find the natural alterative to dealing with Endometriosis.
