The last couple of weeks, I have been researching other blogs and known Food Guru’s out there and to be honest, they often make me feel like I have so far to still travel with my healing. I look at what they eat and how they treat their bodies and I am filled with admiration [...]

5 Things that keep me motivated to keep searching for a Cure for Endometriosis
by Melissa on December 28, 2011 in Words of encouragement
My mom and my sister have come to visit me here in New Zealand, which has been so wonderful! We spent Christmas together with James’s family in a beautiful house in Piha. James and I also announced our engagement to everyone, which is so exciting for everyone! Since then, I thought I would show my [...]
We should be really proud to be Endo Girls!
by Melissa on December 6, 2011 in Featured Articles, Words of encouragement
I think sometimes we don’t realise how much we have to be thankful for. We spend so much of our time trying to find out why we have this Endometriosis, what causes it and most importantly how to reduce it’s effects on our lives! It dominates so much that it is hard to see past [...]
It’s kinda ironic but we all share this same emotion about Endometriosis
by Melissa on November 9, 2011 in Endometriosis Symptoms, Words of encouragement
We are all over the world. Some of us are in India, Pakistan, Mexico, Iran, the US, Australia and yes New Zealand. It is kinda sad that Endometriosis is so wide spread and seems to cross all borders. It doesn’t seem to matter where we are, what part of the globe we reside in or [...]
Sometimes I am not sure if I am doing enough…..
by Melissa on October 21, 2011 in Thoughts and Emotions, Words of encouragement
Another month has gone by and another Ovulation and monthly period has come and gone. I know I have a lot to be grateful for and that I am lucky that the pain is minimal, with an average of real pain days once a month. I am heaps better than I ever was before I [...]
If it’s not working, why do you keep using it, to try and feel better with Endometriosis?
by Melissa on September 4, 2011 in Words of encouragement
The best quote I can think of, which defines Insanity: “Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results”. Albert Einstein. Many of us have done this or are still doing this. We go on a particular treatment because our Gyni or our doctor suggested it. We believe them and follow what [...]
What would you consider a cure for Endometriosis?
by Melissa on July 22, 2011 in Words of encouragement
When I first started this blog, I was a little hesitant on the word “cure”. Mainly I think because when you use that word, people instantly come back with a clear statement: Ëndometriosis cannot be cured. It got me wondering though…. what is considered a cure? Does it mean that if we cannot find a [...]
The 4 Stresses Endometriosis actually causes!
by Melissa on July 15, 2011 in Words of encouragement
I’ll be honest with you, my Endometriosis pain has been rearing it’s ugly head since I have been back in New Zealand. It is kinda forgiveable considering all that is going on. My trip to South-Africa, a new job and the house is still only semi unpacked. It is frustrating but it does prove the [...]
How is your personal journey with Endometriosis going?
by Melissa on July 4, 2011 in Thoughts and Emotions, Words of encouragement
I have found a really interesting book, while staying with my parents. It is called “The Journey” by Brandon Bays – I shall add it to my Amazon Widget soon…. Anyways, it is about her personal journey on healing a massive cancer lump formed within her stomach. It was the size of a basket ball [...]

by Melissa on June 18, 2011 in Get involved!, Words of encouragement
One of my subscribers on facebook sent in this awesome video (thanks Liz ), which totally explains everything that I am saying with my blog and what I want to convey! It is awesome when I find someone else with the same motivation and belief on healing! For those of you who follow [...]
The 4 Things Endometriosis Pain Teaches me
by Melissa on May 31, 2011 in Words of encouragement
I had quite a rough day on Sunday. It was the first time in 6months that I have had such bad period pain and I just felt awful. Luckily, I knew the cause of it all, so that prevented me from going into complete panic mode! I was at James’s parents house too, so that [...]

I just wanted to say, how enlightening your Site is, a dear friend of mine, has gone through hell and back, it has taken them three and a half years to finally diagnose that she has Endometriosis, and as a result it is quite advanced, she is now waiting for an operation. I have been reading up on the subject, because I want to be there for her, and to do that I need to understand the problems she is encountering, many thanks for laying it out so that it can be easily understood.
