I lived in London for a few years and decided to adapt their favourite past-time into my life, since then. I always remember when I had a tough day and I would tell my friends about it, they would inevitably say: “why don’t you have a cup of tea?”. At first I found this habit [...]

How are you sleeping? I have found the perfect solution to get that absolute best slumber feeling ever and discovered something amazing within it!
by Melissa on July 30, 2011 in Detoxing, Healthy Lifestyle choices, Hormone Treatments, Stress & Endometriosis
I have always suffered with sleep – as in getting good, deep sleep. I remember when I was younger, I would often lie awake for hours, staring at the roof, planning my day or my life. The more I tried to convince myself that I needed to sleep, the more it seemed impossible to achieve. [...]
Sometimes I just want to look inside and see what is going on!
by Melissa on July 28, 2011 in Healthy Lifestyle choices, Stress & Endometriosis
I think one of the hardest things I found with Endometriosis, is that we cannot just go to the doctor and have a scan and know then and there, where we are at with our Endo. An Ultrasound doesn’t give us a definitive answer. They can see swollen linings and cancerous growths and large Ovarian Cysts but [...]
Have you become Health Obsessed? Has the need to be healthy almost made you unhealthy?
by Melissa on June 7, 2011 in Personal Experience, Stress & Endometriosis
I find sometimes I totally overwhelmed with information when I read too many books or search the internet for too long – which is an occupational hazard doing this blog I am so focused on health and I almost become obsessed with it. I don’t want to expose myself to anything, I want to ensure [...]
Free Meditation Audio compiled by Mel!
by Melissa on June 2, 2011 in Healthy Lifestyle choices, Inside your head!, Stress & Endometriosis
I decided to take a day off yesterday after I had my amalgam filling replaced. I always find going to the dentist quite stressful so I needed a quite space to get away to. I drove to the beach and just sat there for ages. It was such a wonderfully relaxing space and it got [...]
Candida and Endometriosis. What is the connection?
by Melissa on May 9, 2011 in Detoxing, Healthy Lifestyle choices, Infertility and Endometriosis, Stress & Endometriosis
You may have a little fungus that has grown into a massive invader simply lurking in your body, making you sick and much, much worse. You may not even recognise that the symptoms you are experiencing are actually all linked to this fungus, including infertility and pain. It is called Candida. I know when I [...]
The most Therapeutic Thing you can do for your Body and Mind!
by Melissa on May 7, 2011 in Featured, Healthy Lifestyle choices, Movement is key, Stress & Endometriosis
I woke up pretty innocently today. It is Saturday here and the weather is turning to winter, so it is rainy and the leaves are falling from the trees. I intended to just give the house a quick once over and decided I could do with some music to make the task a little bit [...]
Are you a Control Freak? Do you need everything to be perfect?
by Melissa on March 23, 2011 in Featured, Inside your head!, Stress & Endometriosis
When I was growing up it was always drummed into me that things should be done properly or not at all. I was told that things should be perfect or done to the best of my ability and I shouldn’t even bother if they weren’t. Well you can imagine that this inevitably meant that I [...]
How to “Be Present” Gaining Tranquility, Happiness and Focus
by Melissa on January 6, 2011 in Featured, Inside your head!, Stress & Endometriosis, Words of encouragement
I first heard of “being present” when I read some of Dalai Lama books. It was quite a foreign concept to me prior to this and perhaps I came close to understanding its powers when I did Yoga. “Being Present” is about truly experiencing this current moment, as we are right now. It is about [...]
My new stress relieving technique! – don’t laugh!
by Melissa on November 16, 2010 in Movement is key, Stress & Endometriosis
Well, in the past if I had a day like I had today, I would head straight for the cabinet, the fridge and toss in a lemon – yes I would have a nice cocktail or a strong drink! It always worked and made me feel instantly better…. perhaps the early signs of alcoholics anonymous [...]
Do we Simply Lack Love?
by Melissa on October 28, 2010 in Inside your head!, Stress & Endometriosis
I have been reading so many books, I am going insane with information overload! Well, last night I read an excerpt from a book which claimed that Endometriosis sufferers indicate: “ A lack of self love and a need to replace this with sugar”. Now, I don’t believe everything I read because boy we know [...]

I just wanted to say, how enlightening your Site is, a dear friend of mine, has gone through hell and back, it has taken them three and a half years to finally diagnose that she has Endometriosis, and as a result it is quite advanced, she is now waiting for an operation. I have been reading up on the subject, because I want to be there for her, and to do that I need to understand the problems she is encountering, many thanks for laying it out so that it can be easily understood.
