Our lives have become so focused on material possessions. We surround ourselves with things that are made of plastic, steel and various man-made objects. Our lives become an endless race to gain more of these material possessions which are hollow in their meaning and their status. Have you ever noticed how you cannot feel stressed, [...]

How to get your Immune System working properly, giving you the ability to fight off Endo and all those other nasties!
by Melissa on February 3, 2012 in Detoxing, Featured Articles
When we think of our immune system, we generally think we need to add stuff into our diet or use some kind of supplement to get it working better. It is like we are seeking “armour” for the body. This was my thinking too and for years I have taken all sorts of immune boosters, [...]
Are you making your Endometriosis worse, every day, without even realising it?
by Melissa on January 31, 2012 in Detoxing, Healthy Lifestyle choices
When we look back at the statistics of Endometriosis, breast cancers and other womanly conditions, the figures are definitely on the increase…..unfortunately! We have to wonder what is different about today compared to then. Sure, many of the conditions, including Endometriosis may have simply not been diagnosed, however….Endometriosis has been discovered in children as young [...]
I did it! I did a full Liver Flush! The results are in….worth doing?
by Melissa on January 29, 2012 in Detoxing, Featured Articles
It has been a long week for me. I decided to follow through with my Colonic and did a full liver flush on Thursday. I was dreading it - admit ably. I figured it was the best time to do it. I had cleaned out my bowels and the Gallstones could all find their way out….without [...]
The Hot Debate about Omega 3 Oils. Are you taking any? Are they any good? Which ones should we be taking?
by Melissa on January 28, 2012 in Healthy Lifestyle choices, Hormone Treatments
The big campaign to have more Omega’s in our diet is certainly out there and everywhere you look, someone is suggesting that we should include these “essential” oils in our diet. In most cases, it is suggested that we couldn’t possibly get them through our diet and hence having to now explore supplements or taking [...]
My first experience with having a Colonic done….today! What happened and how does it feel?
by Melissa on January 23, 2012 in Detoxing, Movement is key
So, I didn’t want to tell you that I booked myself in for a colonic today, just in case I wanted to pull out of it. I was actually quite nervous about the whole thing and it took some serious guts (excuse the pun!) to actually go! First off, I might explain what a Colonic [...]

What goes in, must come out! Why I am realising that a good detox is the only way to really cure Endometriosis!
by Melissa on January 20, 2012 in Detoxing, Featured Articles
I listened to a really interesting talk today about plastics. It was an audio by Daniel Vitalis on the David Wolfe’s Membership Forum. In it he describes how many of the common plastics we have in our lives contain Xenoestrogens, which he illustrates as directly affecting our hormones. It is said that these Xenoestrogens actually [...]
Two Amazing Herbs, which you use to help with healing your Endometriosis
by Melissa on January 16, 2012 in Detoxing, The Endometriosis Diet
Being engaged to James (I am loving those words!), has really opened my eyes to the joys of flavours in foods and cooking. James loves using interesting spices and herbs and though I have always enjoyed them, I had no idea of their true benefits, until I started researching them a little further. So, I [...]

I just wanted to say, how enlightening your Site is, a dear friend of mine, has gone through hell and back, it has taken them three and a half years to finally diagnose that she has Endometriosis, and as a result it is quite advanced, she is now waiting for an operation. I have been reading up on the subject, because I want to be there for her, and to do that I need to understand the problems she is encountering, many thanks for laying it out so that it can be easily understood.
